AGOP was tasked by Air Asia to develop concept and execute the YOG Air Asia ground activation with less than 48 hrs lead time. The objective was to leverage on YOG torch relay as well as the opening cermony to create awareness as well as drive traffic to Air Asia Facebook page. The team developed a street activation idea that is able to effectively engage the target audience through active participation. Large speech bubbles with message like “I Love Air Asia!” and “I Only Fly With Air Asia!” were used as photo background.
All photos taken were uplaoded on the Air Asia Facebook Page and target are encourage to vist the facebook page to comment, vote.
The response was overwhelmed and AGOP was able to reach out to 1000 pax and was featured in STOMP (as the Top 8 Must See). Viewership of the STOMP article hit a high of 15,000 viewership in a short few days, and 8 forums had articles relating to the activation.
Finally, Air Asia Singapore Facebook page experinced an increased in fans after the activation!
